This workshop is designed to establish a pioneering national network at the intersection of a “mish mash” of artificial intelligence and computer engineering creativity. Bringing together researchers, artists, technologists, and educators, the event serves as a collaborative space to explore how AI can enhance, challenge, and inspire human-centered creative practices.

VISUAL IDENTITY + BRANDING STRATEGY
To visually emphasize the AI-driven focus of the “MishMash” workshop, I developed a typographic concept that merges the letter “M” with the embedded initials “A” and “I”. The resulting symbol functions as a unified monogram that subtly integrates ‘AI’ within the structure of the ‘M’, reflecting the fusion of artificial intelligence and creative thinking. This custom letterform also serves as the primary icon for the workshop’s identity, and when rotated sideways, it evokes the appearance of human-written HTML code, an intentional nod to the intersection of design and machine logic. The overall branding strategy balances generative AI tools with traditional design methods, visually capturing the dialogue between human intuition and machine innovation.
